Dynamics not working during play mode.
In the score attached, in the second line for the piano, there is a decrescendo arrow, which is supposed to go from mf to p. Although, when I press play it doesn't change the volume/dynamic at all, it stays exactly the same as it was (mf).
Can anyone help?

A hairpin only affect playback if there are appropriate dynamics somewhere before and after the hairpin.

The p at the end of the hairpin is merely 'faked'. It is text.
Click on the hairpin and look in the Inspector. In the Text Line Details area of the Inspector uncheck 'End text'. Then use a 'real' dynamic from the dynamics palette.
The pp dynamic in the following measure is also fake and should be fixed for correct playback.
