Wider staff spacing on the last page
Like the title says: on the last page of my score, the parts are spaced wider than on the previous two pages.
Nothing in the Style menu seems to affect it, and neither did "Reset Shapes and Positions".
I just know my professor is going to have a problem with it, and he's not amenable to the "the software just made it that way" argument. Anyone know how I can fix it??

Does this look better? I increased the maximum page fill distance for vertical justification so that the middle page is spaced evenly with the first and last. If what you intended was the opposite, to have the staves on the last page be closer together to match the second page, you could disable vertical justification entirely, and space the staves to your liking with spacers (https://musescore.org/en/handbook/3/breaks-and-spacers).

I noticed when I adjusted the max page fill to a lower value than default (just to see how it works) that the last page was still spaced proportionally wider than the first two, even as they all got narrower.
So this works as a workaround, but it isn't the cause of the initial discrepancy. If anyone knows what caused the difference on the last page, it would be good to know in case this workaround isn't viable the next time this happens.
The difference seems to be due to the content on the piano part - more stuff between the staves pushes them further apart, and then MuseScore adds a similar amount of space elsewhere to prevent it from looking out of balance. Realistically, it should have also spread out the second page to fill it too, but it is a bit conservative about that by default, so increasing that page fill distance really is the right way to go here.

Okay, great, thanks Marc. I know the "vertical alignment" is a relatively new addition so it's bound to have some quirks. As long as there wasn't some other hidden thing going on I can just play with page fill in the future.
