Separating beams 6/8
Hi! I am transcribing Rodrigo's Fantasia para un Gentilhombre for string quartet, and in the final movement I't need to separate quavers into two groups. I know that it's the old school system of writing (two separate pairs of quavers in 6/8), but the pulsation of the piece requests it to be like that. I'd really like it to look the way it looks in the original scores also. I am familiar with the "beam properties" tools, and usually it works, but however I try, it either separates it into two groups 1+3 or 3+1. could you hit me up with hints how to work around it? Cheers!

And maybe also How to add a beam over a rest
You don't what you tried exactly, but you probably need to both break the existing beam on beat 5 with "beam start" on beat 5 and join the beam on beat 4 with "beam middle".
