I did a quick and dirty hack and it is working now on MuseScore 3.0 (on a Mac).
The problem is that FileDialog { } does not trigger in MS3 plugins.
It now simply saves the file in the home dir.

It doesn't work neither. It did not work after I install the new Update 4,... by 06th March 5:30 o Clock UTC+1

Sorry, no, this is an issue for a particular plugin, not for MuseScore itself...

However: that plugin is for 3.x, it won't work in 4.x without some porting effort
