MacOS Monterey 12.1

Hello, looking to see if anyone else is having a problem with the newly released .1 update to MacOs Monterey. I installed it this morning, and Musescore is now giving me slow, distorted playback. Does anyone know of a fix? Thanks!

I upgraded to macOS Monterey 12.1 on Apple silicon (M1) and do not have playback issues.

Are you on Intel or Apple Silicon (e.g. M1)?
Did you try the workaround posted by Shoichi? Because it is so difficult to troubleshoot an individual user's setup, it is often easier to work off a "known state" of back to factory defaults.
Is the startup speed normal, or do you have any hangs or delays during startup (and if so at which step). (e.g. similar from or different to #327408: MuseScore 3.6.2 on macOS 12 Monterey startup hang on 'Initializing sequencer and audio driver...')
Did you try multiple scores?

Thank you for your reply, Riaan. In the meantime, the issue has resolved itself, it seems. Without intervention on my part that I could reconstruct, it just started working. I'll answer your questions, though, if it helps to solve the issue for others.
I am using a Mac with an Intel processor
I did not reset to factory defaults.
Startup speed appeared to be normal.
I did try multiple scores. All of them had the distorted playback issues.
I also restarted the Mac and restarted Musescore several times, but the distortion persisted. Like I said, all of a sudden it started working.
