The score is for recorder
Not sure what it is, but if it's just text with Roman numeral "II", I'd use staff text (Ctrl+T).

I find this symbol very frequently in scores for recorder, however I do not know what it means. I am using the roman numerals and manage to put it in a new palette so it is easier to add to the score.
