How do I add two simple rhythmic patterns in the same measure of one staff
How do I engrave this simple bass clef measure shown in the attached PDF file? I’m trying to create a simple piano score with a treble and bass clef as shown above. (The time signature is 3/4.) Note that the bass line begins with a low “A” that is sustained through the entire three beats. When I entered the notes for the bass clef, I started with the eighth rest followed by an eighth note (G) tied to a half note. When I tried to add the low “A” (dotted-half note), the other notes to disappeared.
