Escape button not working to leave note input mode
Recently I started using musescore on a macbook, and for the first little while it was fine. But now when I'm in note input mode and I click escape, it doesn't take me out of that mode.
Update: Turns out it wasn't only happening in musescore like I thought. It's apparently this weird mac glitch where I had to turn off siri in settings (which also wasn't working).

Try "N" instead. Or N from the taskbar at the top left.

Managed to solve the issue another way, but I didn't know about that shortcut so thanks for the tip!
Sounds like the keyboard might be defective, I'm afraid. Or at least, dirty - try a can of compressed air to clean it.
