How to change/edit a volta
I'm using the latest version of MuseScore but cannot figure out how change/edit the volta so that the first one is for 1.-3. verses and not just one verse. I was able to do this in version 2 but not 3. Can anyone provide help on this topic?

Select the volta, and in "Repeat list" (Volta section of the Inspector) type in a number, or sequence of numbers separated by commas, to indicate the repeat(s) in which the volta is to be played.

The previous answer relates to musescore 3.
For Musescore 4 :
Make sure the "properties" tab is visible ("view" then select "properties")
Select the volta, then in tab "properties", look for "volta" and adapt either "text" or "repeat list".

Not "either" but "and"!
The text part is the information for the musician, the repeat list is for MuseScore how to play the repeat.
