My trials with MuseScore 9.5 this weekend

• Nov 4, 2009 - 02:46

Hi, I have to say I'm delighted with 0.9.5 under ubuntu jaunty. Much more stable than 0.9.4 for me.
I have been trying it out this weekend. See attached what I've done to test it out.

These are simple compositions which doesn't deserve to "show off", but I think they can give anyone a fair impression about what the editor can do. I mean, I wouldn't post this if a lot of well polished, examples where already there. BTW: not sure wheter posting pdf's is appropriate or not. They're quite heavy... well doing it anyway.

As the title suggests ( "an improvised thing"), it was only a short testing work. I often do short things like this one.

Anyway, it took me about 1:30h , a little more perhaps. This includes the thinking involved while composing the music, and also finding my way around with the editor. If your question is about how long would take me to transcribe that music using musescore today, my bet would be no more than 15min.
