Chord symbol playback
On one song, I can't get it to stop playing the chord symbol. I followed the instructions: Go to Edit> Preferences> Note Input > Chord symbol playback. I have checked and unchecked all the boxes related to chord symbol playback, selecting "OK" for no symbol playback, but still they play. Help! and thanks.

The checkbox you meant is for what happens when entering the chord symbol. It's the style setting you need to control what happens when actually playing the score. The above Handbook article explains how to access that.
