Audio output device

To use the external headphones I must start MuseScore with the headphones plugged in. If I unplug them and plug them back in I find that the audio output goes to the internal speakers. The MuseScore I/O preferences still indicate external headphones, and idem for the system preferences. To go back to headphones the only solution I found is to quit and restart MuseScore ... reopening one by one the various projects.

Using a 2021 Mac PB-M1 with system 11.6.2 and everything up to date.
