Midi keyboard not recognised
Hello Musescore community, I am seeking some advice please. I have been trying to input notes from my Midi keyboard however it is not registering on the score and when l researched further the instruction were that l had to go to I/O in preferences and enable the device as l have a few midi devices. When l go to select the device there is nothing in there to choose. I am able to input notes from my computer keyboard and the midi keyboard is working fine in Ableton Live 11 so l am a little confused.

The usual problem is not having the keyboard connected and turned on before starting MuseScore, so retsart MuseScore now if need be. If that doesn't fix it, then check to see if you have a 64-bit driver or just 32. If that's not it, check to be sure that your OS has not granted Ableton exclusive use of the device.

Thank you so much for you reply sir. I walked through all 3 suggestions and it was the last one so l disabled the exclusivity and did a restart and it is working perfectly even better than l hoped with being able to use Musescore and Ableton Live in conjunction so as what l am playing in Ableton is being transcribed into Musescore.
