Turn off (uncheck) all chord symbols play box
Is it possible to uncheck the Play box for all chord symbols in a work? Have tried Edit---Preferences---Note Input, doesn't have the required effect.

Muting the channel works, but so do simply setting the style to no play, which you can do in there clicks - first select one chord symbol, then uncheck Play, then click then "set as style" button (the "S" icon).
The preference mentioned affects what happens input, not what happens during playback.
