Is there a way to increase a note's volume drastically?
I did it in mixer, i added the loudest dynamics possible, and still i need this note to be louder. (BBb Contrabass trombone blasting a pedal note)
I cant lower the rest of the band's dynamics, it would be really odd to have everyone drop from Fortes and double to fortes down to mezzo pianos to make the trombone's quintuple forte seem loud enough. i even tried my loudest soundfonts

Best I could think of would be to turn down every other instruments' volume in the mixer and max out the trombone's volume. That would make the trombone seem relatively a lot louder, though of course now the base volume of the piece is a lot lower.
In addition to dynamics and mixer levels, have you tried increasing the Offset velocity? The default value is 0.
