Version 4 will appear when it's ready (a few months out till stable), but currently does not (yet) have the album functionality.
You can download MuseScore 2.3.2 from the older/other downloads section on the download page of this very site.

I installed MuseScore 2.3.2. No problem.
And I can add several songs to an Album file. At the file level this seems to work. But the resulting Album file is not recognised/accessible by 2.3.2, "unknown file type". How to solve this problem?
Is there a posibility to transform a score created with 3.6.2 into a 2.3.2 format? (the songs, as expected, cannot be imported into the old 2.3.2 version).
