Project
- Create a new score in 6/8 meter.
- Specify 110 as the Tempo.
- Note that the score shows 73.33333
Marc once explained why this is logical and I get that, in some way, it is logical. But it is also about as useful as 73.3 tits on a bull, to torture an old and sexist phrase.

Specify 110 what as the tempo? 110 dotted quarters gives 165 INTERNAL BPM tempo (which ties with MIDI timing). If you set he timing in Inspector (the arse-to-elbow way of doing it to use another crude phrase) then you are setting the MIDI tempo to 110BPM which equates to 73.333 dotted quarters and any number of other divisions. Hence, set the tempo on the score you want the musician to play at and let MS work out the internal BPM to tally with MIDI.

Also see #291727: Improve tempo indication in Play Panel to reflect time signature which is not quite a duplicate. But letting the user see the internal representation of tempi as quarter notes per minute when the user hopes to see it represented in terms of other note lengths is bound to confuse.

Logical, Byzantine, Ridiculous.
