Tuplet that lasts 3.5 beats?
My piece is in 4/4 and I'm wondering if there's a way to make a tuplet of four notes that last for 3.5 beats.
Obviously selecting two different rests/notes makes each of them their own tuplet, but I'm wondering if there's a way to get around that.

You'd have to make a measure with a custom time signature so that the whole measure is 3.5 beats, then make the tuplet out of that whole measure rest. From there you can cut/paste it wherever you need. See https://musescore.org/en/node/260646

A double dotted half note would have a duration of 3.5 quarters, so it should work to select a double dotted half note or rest and press CTRL+4. I'm not at my pc just now, So I can't test to confirm.
