Sythesizers not crescendoing during long notes?
It doesn't seem that synths can crescendo when a note is tied for a relatively long time, and I was wondering if there are solutions so that I can get playback that will increase and decrease in velocity.

Single note dynamics do work, if they don't for you, you'd need to share the score so we can check why

it doesnt seem like single note dynamics work at all in the whole score even though I set my cresendo hairpins to checked under single note dynamics

First note that your hairpin for the organ is non-functional because there is no dynamic following it, nor any explicit change set on it.
And then fix your assigned sound from "Church Organ 2" to "Church Organ 2 Expr" to use the "expressive"/SND-compatible soundbank

Some soundfonts work. Others, not.

Without experessive sounds there are no single note dynamics though
