Donating to the development cost
I have more or less abandoned the commercial notation software that I used prior to Musescore, and accordingly I no longer have to pay for upgrades, and I get to use a far superior product for nothing.
So I'd be happy to donate money to the development cost of Musescore, but as far as I can tell, there is no way to do this. Is this correct?

Sadly, I've been deterred from that route by the number of comments on this forum about difficulty in cancelling subscriptions.

It is not difficult at all. You'd just do it in your settings on musescore.com, https://musescore.com/user/38716755/subscription

Indeed, it's not difficult to cancel, but it can be difficult to get a refund if you don't cancel and then change your mind.
