Second Time Repeat
I'm writing a march in standard American march form, so intro, first strain with a repeat, second strain with a repeat, yadda yadda. I want to feature the low brass in the second time of the first strain, but I can't figure out any way to make a dynamic change after the repeat. Is there any way to do this?

i have a first and second volta placed in already, and i tried having a dynamic placed before the repeat so it would have that dynamic first time through and a different dynamic in the first volta so it would be that dynamic in the second time through, but it goes back to the dynamic from before the repeat. is there no way to have it louded the second time, or am i just doing it wrong?

As mentioned below, playback of repeated sections is currently identical within MuseScore.

so the only way to functionally do this would be to expand the repeat to be twice as long instead of just repeating?

Currently playback of a repeated section in MuseScore is identical for each repeat.
