Remove or add an instrument mid-score
So I've got an orchestra ensemble and I want to add an instrument: for this instance, a percussion instrument. I want to use it once and never again in my score. Is there a way I could do that?

First, add the instrument and enter all the notes. See:

Then use menu item: Format > Style > Score and put a check in the box 'Hide empty staves within systems'.
