moving a measure to the next page
I am trying to figure out how to force a measure onto the next page. I have read the other forum posts about hitting the enter (return) key but that doesn't seem to work for me. When I hit enter, a small grey enter symbol appears above the measure but the measure doesn't move. Thank you. pg. 10 at the bottom right.

Use Ctrl+Enter for a page break, just Enter add a system break.
In this case though this results in the same thing, both system and page break move that last measure of page 10 to page 11
What are these lines supposed to be? Glissandos? If so, use those instead.
Or just lines connecting notes? If so, use Edit > All > Lines > Note anchored line
You need to add the break to the previous measure. Put the break on the last measure you want to appear on a system or page, not on the first measure you want on the next system or page.

This just works for me correctly. And that makes it sense.
