adding note to 4/4 bar
I have issues adding notes to a 4/4 bar
I have just left a 6/4 bar. re entered a 4/4 time signature in the next bar but can only fill to 3/4 before the notes jump to the next bar altering all other bars.
I have tried to put a new bar with new 4/4 time signature pasted but it is not working help please!

Correct the actual duration of the bar via Bar Properties: https://musescore.org/en/handbook/3/measure-operations#duration
Normally of course this should work. If you continue to have trouble, please attach the score and give precise instructions to reproduce the problem. Then we can understand and assist better.
