Using alto voice in musescore 3
Hi,
I've been having some problems, I'm writing a piece for a chamber ensemble and I've included baritone and alto as solo singers, but I noticed the alto voice sounds exactly like the baritone voice (very masculine) when singing anything below middle C, which is troubling, since I need a feminine voice here. Does anyone know of a solution? Like, for example, adding a custom instrument/voice from the internet? Except I don't know if the program would work with it.

Yes, you could add a new soundfont that includes male and female vocals. I personally use the Choir SA and Choir TB sounds from AegeanSymphonicOrchestra (https://musescore.org/en/node/240256), though those are ensemble sounds, not soloists. In the default font, all the voices sound the same in the same octave.
