Window won't stay maximized

  1. Maximize the window.
  2. Minimize the window.
  3. Bring the minimized window to the front.

Desired behaviour: the window fills the screen.
Actual behaviour: the windows is not maximized and has to be restored manually each time.

I haven't found the option for remembering the window's position in Preferences, so I don't know how to make the program remember it.

Hi, I was facing the same issue, but I found a workaround (WINDOWS ONLY).
Here the instructions:

  1. Go to the musescoreV.exe shortcut
  2. right click on it --> Properties --> shortcut (should be the default opening choice) --> "RUN" field should be set as MAXIMIZED (the default one is normal window, probably the normal window in musescore code is the reduced one)
