Undocumented entry for chord symbols resulting in bass note only? Should it be added to the handbook?

Using Ctrl-K I accidentally entered Da instead of D. The result was only the root bass note was played. I checked the "Chord Symbol" section of the Inspector and it was the usual
Interpretetation = literal
Voicing = auto
Duration = until next chord symbol.
I also tried with many other letters that do not have established meaning in the symbols(unlike m,b, t, etc, ) and the result was the same, playing only the bass root note.
I couldn't find any reference to this either in the handbook or in the forum.

If unintended, this could result handy while entering chord symbols, to play only the bass note instead of using the Inspector. and it might as well be documented.

It seems to be more the result of incomplete parsing due to the unkown chord voicing indication by unrecognized letters.
I wouldn't depend on this undocumented behavior as there's a good chance all of those symbols won't do what you want them to do in a future version (say 4.x)

Not sure this is worth being mentioned in the handbook.
Having something like /D play a D and that only might be usefull, but doesn't play anything at all currently
