Only way to describe it is "Splitting a Score"
I am transposing Three Dances from the Music to Henry VIII for Trombone from Alto to Tenor Clef. Obviously, it has three movements. I've counted all the bars in the piece and made the score.
However... when the first movement ends the Trombones are Tacet in the second movement.
Is there a way to finish the stave, cut it, add the text for the Tacet movement then start with the third movement?
Thank You

Use a section break at the end of the first movement, then right-click the first measure of the third movement and choose Add -> Insert vertical frame. You can then right-click that frame to add the text for the second and third movements. See https://musescore.org/en/handbook/3/breaks-and-spacers for where to find the section break object, and also the attached score for a sample of how you could set things up.

Thank you so much for your help. That is perfect. This is an amazing program, it's just having to learn its intricacies.
