BIG GAP BETWEEN TWO INSTRUMENTS
I've been writing for a string orchestra. Between the cello and contrabass a large gap has appeared between the staves. This hasn't happened anywhere else. I've tried everything to get rid of it to no avail. Can anyone advise.

Impossible to say for certain from a picture, but the most likely cause is something like a dynamic having been moved way out of position. The easiest way to resolve that is to use CTRL+A to select everything and then CTRL+R to put everything back to its default position. But be aware, that is everything including things whose position you have adjusted on purpose.
