Tab + Sheet Music. How Do I Make The Sheet Music An Octave Lower?
Hi. Screenshot attached shows what I've got.
The tab is right. The sheet music also displays what I've written into the tab. However, I want the sheet music to be written an octave lower starting on middle c, and then I would put an octave sign above to tell the reader to play it an octave higher.
Is this possible?

To transpose by an octave see

It does transpose it down own octave like I want, but the problem is it also moves the guitar tab. I want the tab to stay as it is.

Did you use a linked stave?
I think the difference is generated by the octaved key. Instruments (all instruments) include the guitar with simple treble clef.

Like this?
The clef is changed to a regular treble clef (no dangling little 8).
The treble clef octave line is "fake". Use the Inspector to see the details.
The TAB staff octave line is made invisible.
You make no mention of playback.
