Systems on last page of score

Currently using version 0.9.4 on Mac OSX. Each score I write, the global positioning for the staves (systems) does not hold for the final page of the score. Everything else is fine and well spaced throughout, however the last page has all the systems squashed closely together. I don't want to use spacers if I can avoid them, so is there a reason why the above happens on every score?
