Rendering of a Corrupted .mscz File Upon Re-Attempting PDF Conversion Tool

My first pass at converting the PDF in question having failed, I accidentally re-uploaded the same file when I was trying to select a different score to test. I received an email shortly after said first attempt to inform me of its failure that said, essentially, "do not try to upload a failed conversion twice", but I missed it until after my error. I was surprised when the second iteration of the conversion produced a result. However, the software immediately informed me the file was corrupted.

Are these things related or is it just the mechanics of the tool?
