output device shutting off causes crash

  1. Enable audio output device (in my case, bluetooth audio device).
  2. Launch Musescore with playback enabled & open a new or existing score.
  3. Power off audio output device.
  4. Edit any note in score.
  5. Musescore enters infinite loop & can only be closed using Windows Task Manager.

Comment: Bug may be connected to playback of the new/changed note. Absence of an audio output device should generate an error message, not a crash.

I've had this too. I don't think it's related to the static noise bug that I and others have experienced, because it's happened on my other laptop.
