hiding barline at start of single staff with hiding empty staves

I'm making a sheet music for orchestra viola part. During the piece, the viola part has divisi that uses two staves. However, when the divisi ends and uses only one staff, barline at start of the viola staff still remains. It doesn't dissappear even after uncheck "barline at start of single staff"(it's unchecked as default). It dissappear when I uncheck "barline at start of multiple staves", but it also makes it dissappear the barlines when using two staves. the length of the piece is quite long, so I don't want to manually click them and check "invisible". What could I do?
