Basically, you can just go into the inspect element and find the link adress for each page of sheet music and download it as an svg. Pretty easy but it feels like it shouldnt exist...

I guess you're talking about musescore.com, this here though is musescore.org, see

The SVGs are what the musescore.com backend shows on the normal screen, so downloading those can't get avoided (else you'd see nothing), you could do screenshoots instead too.
And then, you're not downloading the score, just a picture of it. But yeah, nice hack if you want to keep a souvenir from your visit to that website.
