ASCII Tab Plugin User Guide
I have just loaded the "ASCII Tab" plugin which apparently will generate ascii tab files (if there is tablature in the MuseScore score). However, there is virtually no documentation or user guide. I've loaded the plugin and enabled it, but I can't find any button or menu item to trigger its function/s. Can anyone enlighten me on how to get started with using this plugin?

If you've enabled it via the Plugin Manager, then you should now have the following menu entry:
Plugins → ASCII Tab Exporter → Export ASCII tabUpon clicking that, a file dialog should open to allow you to set the export location.

Thanks @jeetee, other plugins seem to work for me in the way you've described but not this one. There are no new items in the Plugins menu after I enable this plugin. I suspect this is a bug. I've attached a screenshot of the Plugin Manager window with the ASCII Tab plugin selected.

Open and (try to) run it in Plugin Creator, that might give an error message with a hint what's going wrong
What version of MuseScore, what Operating System?

Thanks Jojo - I ran it in Plugin Creator and got messages about missing Qt libraries. I fixed that and plugin now loads. Problem solved! I also reference this post for fixing the missing libraries: https://musescore.org/en/node/273999
