Can't hear notes when inserted or on playback in MuseScore 3.6.2.548021803

Hi All,

This past week I have been having issues with playback sound in MuseScore. I have tried all of the fixes previously suggested on the forum and none of them are working for me. I really love this software and hope to continue using it, but do need to get some music written. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Have you tried all of the potential fixes listed in this FAQ https://musescore.org/en/node/96811? It is best to go through them systematically point by point and also look at the notes at the foot of the page.

Also pay attention to No9. suggesting that if none of those suggestions fix the problem to come back to the forum with details of your specific set up.
