MuseHub will not download anything after changing download directory

Install MuseHub.
Start downloading something.
Change the download directory while downloading.
Pause download and quit.
Upon restarting the app, observe that downloads cannot proceed.
Uninstalled, removed directories, reinstalled. Did not fix the issue. The following errors pop up in service log file:

Same exact problem. Ran out of space on my C: drive while downloading Sounds. Changed it to my D: drive and there you go no more download.
EDIT: Also tried uninstalling musehub including the downloaded instruments, effects, and applications, and after reinstalling Musehub I am still not allowed to download anything.
I'm back with a workaround. After uninstalling all the instruments and effects (they were only partially downloaded and in an undesired place) I just reinstalled Musehub. I HAD TO restart my PC after changing the download destination for it to start downloading though. It should probably be mentioned in the settings that one must restart the PC and not just MuseHub to make the download folder change work properly.
