Autosave

I had been working on my score and usually manually save every 20 minutes or so. But I forgot for an hour or two.....
And: The program crashed during one edit and I couldn't recover the last version, so I referred to the Autosave documentation. I see that my preferences have Autosave set to 2 minutes. But where are any autosave files please?
