Man. or Manual help
I'm transcribing this music into musescore and I have a question about the text "Man." underneath the very first measure, which I assume means "manual." Is there a setting like this in one of the pallettes or is this something you add as text?

There's definitely nothing specifically like that on the palette, so I'd just add it as staff text (Ctrl+T). Hit "X" to position it below the staff, use the Inspector to make it italic if desired. Or add it as expression text - Ctrl+E - which places it below and italicized by default, but technically, if it does mean "manual", it's a technique and not expression, and thus really shouldn't be italicized by modern standards,
