uploading
i've been trying to upload some songs and online site doesn't recognize the .mscz files. tried to upload from desktop application too as "save online" and says no network connection, so that
route didn't work. does this program work with Apple?

Sounds like you are having an issue with the score-sharing website musescore.com, so best to go over there to that website to ask for help. See the "support" link at the bottom of any page for contact info for that site's support staff.
As for MuseScore itself - the free desktop notation software - it runs on Windows, macOS, and Linux.
The score stems from the very outdated MuseScore vesion 2.0.2: update to 2.3.2 or even better 3.6.2!
I can confirm though that even with 2.3.2's File > Save online doesn't work (anymore), but gives an error "Please check your internet connection".
Using the direct upload to the website fails too.
Both should, as Marc mentioned, get reported to the musescore.com support team.
It does upload though when using 3.6.2's File > Save online
