Musescore 4: Muse Sounds On One Percussion Stave
I am making a concert band score in Musescore 4 and have many percussion parts that would be great to put on a single 5 line stave instead of their individual instruments. So, I make a "percussion" stave and go into the mixer to change the sound from MS Basic to the new Muse Sounds, only to find they have no option for percussion, only individual instruments.
Is there any way to get Muse Sounds onto a percussion stave with multiple instruments?

Hey @Marc Sabatella, Is there any issue/bug tracking tickets for us to look at (or at least hope for?) It would be nice if we can have this very common functionality.
Thanks.

To be clear, the feature itself is present and has been for many years. It's just not supported in Muse Sounds. There is an issue for tracking this request - https://github.com/musescore/MuseScore/issues/14016. Percussion improvements have already been announced as a priority for an upcoming release, likely 4.2 or 4.3, along with a new percussion pack for Muse Sounds. So I'd expect to come within the year.

Thanks for the reply and clarification.
Yes, I do understand that it works with the default MS Basic pack. It just sounds quite awkward when the entire ensemble have beautiful Muse Sounds while percussions require MS Basic sound. The rendering just quite doesn't fit.
It's very nice to hear the news about the confirmation of this feature. Will be looking forward to it.
You could use a VST.
Except when you're on Linux.
