- write multiple measures of continuous eighth notes with an instrument that can sustain (piano)
- add a pedal lasting one measure for each measure
- on one of the measures that aren't the first or last measure, add a ritardando for the whole measure
- the measure after, even though written with a pedal, will playback as if it wasn't written with a pedal.

Here as well. See measures 33-34 and 47-end. Using 4.0 on Win10 with MuseSounds Upright Piano.
Same thing happened for me as well. See measure 5. I'm using Windows 10 22H2 and Musescore 4.0.0.223472200. I've tested both with MuseSounds and MS Basic and the issue happens with both.
