Project
  1. Open the application on a small screen - or laptop main screen.
  2. To prove it works - open the preferences dialog. Close that.
  3. Move the application to a second screen
  4. try to open the preferences.

What happens is the screen does a small rise up and down and then enters a mode where all you get is a click - the same click you get when a modal is displayed non is showing here) and you click on the back ground.

I am on Windows 10 on a laptop with a second monitor.
