Can't add multiple LV symbols to a chord in MS4

• Dec 22, 2022 - 11:16

In MS3 there are LV (Laissez Vibrer = let ring) above and below slurs in the Articulations palette which I can add multiply to any chord,

In MS4 there is only the above slur, which can only be added to one note per chord. The symbols list in the master palette has both slurs but they are much shorter than the one in the default palette.

Short of hamfisted work-arounds to attempt to tie to rests or turn every chord into multiple voices, is there an easier way this was meant to be accomplished in v4?

Just to add, it's not just LV symbols, but slurs as well - it only adds one slur line to whichever note you've picked from the chord and not to the entire chord. They did mention Musescore 4 came with a lot of bugs and imperfections, so hopefully it'll get fixed in the next patch!

MU3 only had the LV above by defaulte, but perhaps you had previously customized your palette to add a below version as well? You can create one by adding the LV above then pressing "X" to flip it, then adding that back to your palette. Also, you can find the longer versions on the Symbols palette by switching it to show Leland instead of Bravura.
