MuseScore 4 playback stops working after computer is asleep for a long time
Hello, I've noticed this bug happen two times since I've started using MuseScore 4. Basically I will be working on a MuseScore and if I leave the Score open after my computer goes to sleep for a long period of time (on the time scale of about a day or two), then when I open my computer again and interact with MuseScore, the playback feature is broken. When I hit the play button, no sound comes out and the playback cursor slides through the piece faster than it should. This problem does not resolve itself by closing and opening the score while keeping MuseScore open. However, closing and reopening the application seems to fix the playback mechanism.
I have also tried closing my computer and immediately reopening and testing the playback feature, and it still works as intended. There seems to be a difference between the computer going to sleep for a short period of time and a long period of time. For your information, I am using:
OS: macOS 12.1, Arch.: x86_64, MuseScore version (64-bit): 4.0.0-223472200, revision: 5485621
Thanks,
David

Same here
Sibelius also doesn't like to be put to sleep. So I learned long ago to close the program when I'm not using it. I also shut my computer down when I'm done for the day. It's better for the computer, too.
This happens consistently for me. OS: macOS 14.7, Arch.: arm64, MuseScore Studio version (64-bit): 4.4.2-242570931, revision: 3130f97
Workaround: Either close and reopen app, or go to Audio Device in preferences, change between System default and External Headphones (my line out is connected to a sound system).
Maybe I'm ocautious, but i never leave any applications running when I put my computer to sleep.
