Chord Symbol not completly shown
Hello, I imported an xml music file and it worked good expect for the Chord Symbols.
For example, there is a "C5" chord entered and it only shows the "5". When I add a new Chord, like A7, then also only the "7" is shown, but during Input or when clicking on the chord symbol, the complete Chord Symbol is shown.
Seems to be related to the stile settings, something to do with text box size perhaps(?), but I tried a lot and did not find the right setting.
I compared the settings with some other sheet music, but could not find the differences.
Somebody got an idea?
Thanks in advance.

I've got the same issue with Musecore 4 when opening a score created in Musescore 3. Any solution to getting the full chord symbol displayed?

Close and reload the score

Don't use a custom chord symbols file, but Jazz or Standard

I've been using Standard and closing and re-opening the file didn't help, but reinstalling Musehub and Musescore 4 fixed it. Might be related to a missing Musescore libsndfile.1.dylib, which also caused Musescore to crash. Not sure why it was missing.

Was this the final solution? I just encountered the exact same problem when importing a.mid file. Reinstalling didn't seem to help. I try to enter new chord symbols and the score accepts them but they disappear (not really disappearing, but the text box is too small to display and can't be stretched. Thanks.

I believe the final fix is (or will be) in 4.2
From the Format menu choose "Style...". Select "Chord Symbols" and set the Style to "Jazz".
