Less common instruments & MuseSounds

• Dec 30, 2022 - 15:06

I finally have a working MS4 + MuseHub installation, with instruments downloaded where I need them to be.
Now I'm trying-out the heavily-promoted sound quality we've been given. (An aside: initially, program response are quite sluggish during note entry. Unspecified volume levels seem much softer; I find the need to specifically assign dynamics marks so I can hear more clearly.)

I created a test score: alto flute, heckelphone, bass clarinet, euphonium, F horn, timpani, piano, violins, violas, 'cellos. Apparently this means a blending of MS-Basic and MuseSounds instruments, because the heckelphone & euphonium don't appear in the MuseSounds libraries. I can understand the heckelphone being absent (it is something of a fringe instrument). But the euphonium?

People-that-know... What is the likelihood us end-users will find less-common instruments ADDED to MuseSounds instrument families in future?
