[solved] Where are my MS4 Sounds installed?
I am starting to suspect that something is wrong my MS4 Sound Packs. The thing is it's already been a while since the beta was released and I've read many reports (on Discord and here) about how MS4 has been improving daily, but I haven't seen any improvement myself, let alone seeing the problems (that I had reported on GitHub) fixed. Really, the only change that I have experienced lately was when MS4 suddenly reverted all instruments on all scores back to "MS Basics", thus, giving me the task of manually setting MS4 instruments once again.
I've decided to delete the existing Sound Packs and then to download them from MuseHub again, but the problem is... I just can't locate them! Where are they? MuseHub is telling me in the settings that the Sounds installation path is this:
"C:\ProgramData\MuseHub\Downloads"
but there is no such path on my computer. There is no such directory on C disk as "ProgramData".
There are such folders as "Program Files" and "Program Files (x86)" there. "Program Files (x86)" doesn't contain anything related to Musescore. "Program Files" has "MuseScore 3" and "MuseScore 4" folders, but the Sound Packs are not in them.

I can't speak with authority for Windows. Here was my journey about MuseSounds, alternate-disk-location, and troubleshooting that, on Ubuntu Linux: https://musescore.org/en/node/340559
I will suggest, in Windows Explorer, do a C:\ search, perhaps using "muse" (no quotes, keep asterisks), or "downloads", or "Instruments". Specifically, start your searching at top-directory "C:\".

Thanks, but that didn't help. I just can't find that folder. It must be hidden on my computer for some reason.

Just tried your method again and this time it worked! Thank you! Strangely, the folder doesn't show up on my computer under the path specified in MuseHub settings, which is "C:\ProgramData\MuseHub\Downloads", but it does show up under a slightly different path: "This PC\Local Disk (C:)\ProgramData\MuseHub\Downloads". Not sure why it is so.
So, in this "Downloads" folder I have a folder named "Instruments" and that's exactly where all the sound-font folders are ("Muse Brass", "Muse Choir", "Muse Harp", "Muse Keys", "Muse Percussion", "Muse Strings", "Muse Woodwinds"). The size of "Instruments" is about the size of twelve 1080p-resolution movies (13.4 GB). I am going to delete all instruments now and then I will redownload them from MuseHub.
I wonder if MuseHub provides the way of not only uninstalling MuseScore 4, but also the Muse Sounds? After all, that's a lot of gigabytes. There must be a way.

You may want to try the method suggested above by Are Jayem. I have no idea if this method exists on Mac OS, but it worked for me on Microsoft Windows.
