Can it be that it is related to the character set (Korean?)?
I might test it and update this comment...
- possibility 1 - MuseScore UI korean: no problem exporting to midi
- possibility 2 - sheet music text korean: no problem too with my test sheet
So maybe you want to provide you sheet/file(s) (.mscz)?

I've got the exact same problem having just downloaded the latest version 4.0 after years on version 3. It shuts down whenever I go to export to MID file format. What makes matters worst after having scored the song in Musescore 4.0, I'm not able to open the MCSZ in the latest version of version 3, nor am I able to export in the XML format in version 4.0 as it crashes the application too.
This is a critical part of my workflow and needs to work properly if I am to continue using Musescore 4.0 as my notation program. I score the song structure in Musescore for any new compositions first, then export to MID for further development in either Cubase or Logic Pro.
Come on guys, fix this critical issue quickly before I move over to another notation application.

시트/파일(.mscz)을 제공하고 싶습니까?
